WebsiteA website (or Web site) is an organization or individual’s presence on the web. A web site is hosted on a server by its owner or at an ISP. To qualify as a web site, the web server must be available on the Internet 24 hours a day. The computer that a server program runs in is also frequently referred to as a server (though it may contain a number of server and client programs). In the client/server programming model, a server is a program that awaits and fulfills requests from client programs in the same or other computers.
