DHTMLDynamic HTML is a collective term for a combination of new Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) tags and options that will let you create Web pages more animated and more responsive to user interaction than previous versions of HTML. Much of dynamic HTML is specified in HTML 4.0. Simple examples of dynamic HTML pages would include having the color of a text heading change when a user passes a mouse over it or allowing a user to "drag and drop" an image to another place on a Web page. Dynamic HTML can allow Web documents to look and act like desktop applications or multimedia productions. Web ResourceThe concept of Resource is primitive in the web architecture, and is used in the definition of its fundamental elements. In short a web resource is any object present through the web, made available by any of the standards present for connecting with and expressing the content of the object. For the purpose of internet marketing, the value of a web resource depends on the depth of content relevant to the overall topic being expressed. Search Engine IndexingSearch engine indexing entails how data is collected, parsed, and stored to facilitate fast and accurate retrieval. Index design incorporates interdisciplinary concepts from Linguistics, Cognitive psychology, Mathematics, Informatics, Physics, and Computer science. An alternate name for the process is Web indexing, within the context of search engines designed to find web pages on the Internet. ZipZipping is the act of packaging a set of files into a single file or archive that is called a zip file. Usually, the files in a zip file are compressed so that they take up less space in storage or take less time to send to someone. There are several popular tools that can be used for zipping files: WinZip and Netzip for Windows, MacZip for Macintosh users, and Zip and UnZip for UNIX systems. The result of zipping is a single file with a ".zip" suffix. After you receive a zip file, you may have to extract and decompress the file by using the same kind of tool that was used to zip the original file. Search Engine RankingSearch engine ranking is a measure of the online promotional success of a web page or website. Most search engines default to ten organic or natural listings per page. Many include sponsor links before or to the right of the results. Many searchers will be satisfied with the first page or two, so getting a top 20 or 30 listing can have an impact on a website's success.
