- Thanksgiving Roofing Blitz - 15 Homes in 5 Days !
HandsOn is working with Bayou Grace, a small non-profit located in Chauvin, LA, who is coordinating the relief efforts for the five bayous following Hurricanes Gustav and Ike. Bayou Grace has tarped, mucked, gutted, and done mold remediation on homes in Terrebone Parish. The Thanksgiving Roofing Blitz is taking place Saturday, November 22 through Wednesday, November 26. Volunteers are most needed between Monday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 26. Housing is provided for volunteers at a cost of $20 for the week, and an additional donation for food is requested.
